MSA Licensed Rescue Unit

Our licensed Rescue Ambulance unit has been specially built for its purpose. Although it is licensed as an Ambulance and
carries Paramedic Bags, Spinal boards, Trauma fluids and medical gasses it also carries Rescue equipment as used by the
Fire and Rescue Service and is designed primarily for its role as an Automotive Rescue Vehicle. We carry 9 differing types
of Fire Extinguishers for many types of fire fighting applications. It also carries Hydraulic Rescue Cutting Jaws and Rams
to aid a casualty extrication along with modern Fire Service Rescue equipment.

To assist Event Organisers in the smooth running of a safe day also carry extra equipment to help in the safety elements
such as refuelling area equipment, Safety PPE, Cones and additional scene lighting.

One of the initial procedures we would carry out in event of an incident is to request additional Fire/Rescue and Ambulance
crews with a view toward maybe Air Ambulance (HEMS) assistance. This is an ideal scenario and from our professional experience
it may be operationally possible to have these resources available within the time constraints we would be working under.
Due to this risk vehicles are taxed and insured to transport any casualties to a pre arranged RV point or Hospital under
emergency blue light conditions. All Drivers have the necessary emergency driving qualifications with 2 yearly reassessments
as stated by the DSA. Proof of these competencies are available and stored in the vehicles.

4x4 Fire/Rescue Response Unit

Our 4x4 Fire/Rescue Response Unit is a smaller version of the Rescue Unit. Carrying a large selection of Rescue Equipment
to provide an initial stabilisation of an emergency scene and having the advantage of 50 litres of AFFF fire fighting foam
and carrying Breathing Apparatus it is perfectly suited to its’ role providing immediate fire support.

As well as the Fire and Rescue kit additional Trauma Care equipment such as Spinal immobilisation media, medical gasses and
Paramedic bags are also stored on board this blue light licensed vehicle.

Unmarked 4x4’s

For Safety and Risk Co ordination we have a selection of unmarked 4x4’s that carry a selection of initial Trauma Care and
Rescue Equipment to deal with an incident as well as Safety media such as cones and environmental agency Spill kits

We have learnt over time that some Event Organisers prefer not to have the visual presence of the Rescue Ambulance due to
not wanting to worry participants of the Risks so the Land Rover is a more covert and cost affordable solution.
The hydraulic cutting gear from the Rescue Ambulance can be mounted in the rear of a 4x4 should the Risk Assessments require it.

Fast Response Car

Due to the large amount of safety cover we have provided recently for Top Speed trials and the fact that the Risk area
(normally a runway) can be over 2 miles in some cases Motorsport Safety Solutions Ltd also have a Fast Response Car so the
incident scene can be reached and initial scene stabilisation carried out prior to the arrival of the Rescue Ambulance.

Often acting as a “chase” car the FRC carries basic Fire fighting media, Trauma Care Equipment and Medical Gases enabling
the Crew to carry out the immediate Dynamic Risk Assessment of any potential incident.

Fire Appliances

Although a large selection of Fire fighting equipment is carried on all vehicles and we have the extensive knowledge of
dealing with car fires we can also arrange separate Fire cover through a professional company that we have worked alongside frequently.

They are all off duty qualified and experienced Fire fighters who are in date with their competencies and have a very safe
attitude toward the risks of the job involved. By using off duty Crew from the UK Fire and Rescue Service you are covered
to the high training standards set out by the HSE and the Home Office.
